Audrey Sutherland with Gary Luhm, photographer/kayaker

"I was totally unprepared for the beauty of Southeast Alaska. You were our guide and our anchor. Thanks for caring as much about our safety as our fun and opening a window to another world."
~ Brigid Kenney, Maryland

Captain Jim, the most able
captain afloat,
Described all the destinations
of note.
All sounded wonderful,
the choices spectacular,
The Frees and Turners
cried "peachy keen"
In East Coast vernacular.

~ Exerpt from epic poem
by Chris Free

"I traded my keyboard, pager, commute, stress, . . .for paddle, blissful wilderness and snow-peaked mountains,. . . I draw strength from that week even today."
~ EJ John Erickson
